Some quick events that caught my eye, but which I can’t attend, because they’re all in Europe:
Winterthur’s Photography Museum and the new Swiss Photography Foundation stand on an old factory site, forming Europe’s largest photograpic center. The venue is dedicated to contemporary photography as an art form and as a visual document of reality.
From December 1 until December 3 the Romanian Peasant’s Museum will host its famous Christmas Market.
Eero Saarinen: Shaping the Future is the first retrospective of Saarinen, the Finnish-born modernist architect (1910-1961).
The Natural History Museum in Oslo is holding an exhibit on homosexuality in the animal kindom.
